don't play bc2, like cod4. its not the same! hang back a bit and get braver the better you get, hide in tanks if ya have to, just dont run and gun you'll die very quickly, and also the maps are large enough for flanking Time has gone with yesterday. You start to realize that the days that you thought would never end, did quite quickly.
Several key things to bf gameplay that wasn't always there in cod..
Get in a communicative squad! The game becomes so much more fun with a leader who gives instructions and teammates who call out status updates, enemy positions, what not.
While in a squad, you'll generally have teammates to back you up when you get into a confrontation (Plus usually if there's a medic, you won't die as much, if he's decent, such as myself )
Use vehicles to your advantage, either as transport, assualt, flanking or as cover (just be careful... they do blow up)
Don't always go for kills, rather, try to suppress the enemy (Depending on the class I suppose) unless you're class is specific to taking out the enemy, just put down some lead out on the field, it makes a difference
Get to know map layout, strategy, especially movement and getting in a good position make a big difference Don't be afraid or feel lame for camping, in BF it's called defending a position
The game takes some getting used to especially if your main fps is CoD, so no worries, you'll get the hang of it.
What class do you usually play as Squash? "Ninjas can't catch you if you're on fire!"
Haha, no worries, soon as you find one you play well as try n focus on it (course.. it's pretty awesome to have a utility player whom can assume any role when needed) "Ninjas can't catch you if you're on fire!"
OK, so what do/can I do with what appears to be the health and ammo packs (the little green cases that you can drop)? I think I've hit just about every button on em and nothing happens.
Unless the mechanics have changed from BF2 they should automatically be picked up if you stand near them (granted you need health/ammo). If you're a medic/supply man and you just hold them out without tossing one out it auto refills everyone slowly. "Ninjas can't catch you if you're on fire!"
but if you need to move and the guys near buy need constant supply, you drop it, and move on, it will resupply them for a certain amount of time. Time has gone with yesterday. You start to realize that the days that you thought would never end, did quite quickly.
my best strategy so far has been to find a quad, hop on, hall ballz around and behind enemy, find good sniping spot and let the fun begin.... other strat was to take the enemy face on.... that doesnt work out so well without heavy armor and backup, which I havent quite got a grasp on yet.. im about 25% towards 1st rank
